About JDB Physiotherapy
Jade graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2010 with a BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy degree. Jade went straight into private practice to specialise in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. During her career Jade has worked in a variety of clinical and sporting settings, treating a wide range of patients from 8 year olds to 90 year olds.
Jade has a passion for sporting injuries always being heavily involved with elite and amateur athletes alongside her private practice work. Jade started out at London Scottish in both amateur and professional teams and also did a bit with University American football teams. Jade’s heaviest involvement in sport is with the British Judo athletes covering at the Centre of Excellence and travelling abroad, which she continues to do. From these experiences Jade understands the further stages of rehabilitation and the demands the body undergoes at these top levels, physically and mentally.
Jade continues to develop her skills and knowledge by attending numerous post graduate courses, enabling her to enhance her manual therapy and treatment techniques. Jade actively carries out acupuncture treatment having completed her course in 2012, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM). Jade also has a keen interest in Clinical Pilates which she uses alongside her Physiotherapy practice to complete her approach.
Jade herself enjoys being active regularly training in the gym, horse riding and running, completing the London Marathon in 2015.
