Jade Blake

Jade graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2010 with a BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy degree. Jade went straight into private practice to specialise in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. During her career Jade has worked in a variety of clinical and sporting settings, treating a wide range of patients.

Jade has a passion for sporting injuries always being heavily involved with elite and amateur athletes alongside her private practice work. Jade started out at London Scottish in both amateur and professional teams.Jade’s heaviest involvement in sport is with the British Judo athletes covering at the Centre of Excellence and travelling abroad, which she continues to do. More recently, the opposite end of the sporting spectrum, Jade has been contracting for the English National Ballet (ENB), working with the dancers during the Coliseum season and at the centre for rehabilitation.

 

From these experiences Jade understands the further stages of rehabilitation and the demands the body undergoes at these top levels, physically and mentally. Jade is also the medical lead at RGS boys school in High Wycombe and Beaconsfield Rugby Club overseeing the rugby squad and providing clinic and pitchside cover.

Jade continues to develop her skills and knowledge by attending numerous post graduate courses, enabling her to enhance her manual therapy and treatment techniques. Jade actively carries out acupuncture treatment having completed her course in 2012 and being an active member if the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). Jade also has a keen interest in Clinical Pilates which she uses alongside her Physiotherapy practice to complete her approach, holding Clinical Pilates classes regularly at RGS high Wycombe and Hedsor Golf Course. Jade is currently combining her passion and Physiotherapy knowledge by carrying out a Masters at Hartpury University in Veterinary Physiotherapy.

 

Jade herself enjoys being active regularly training in the gym, horse riding and running, completing the London Marathon in 2015 a HYROX in 2022 and will be competing in a team at the turf games July 2023.

Jade offers Physiotherapy and Pilates classes at 4 different locations: Hedsor Golf Course near Beaconsfield, CoActive in Chalfont St. Giles, RGS in High Wycombe and most recently Mortimer in Reading.

Tiana Woolfenden
 

Tiana graduated from Bournemouth University in 2021 with a BSc(Hons) in Sports Therapy. Tiana went straight into working at Beaconsfield Rugby Club as a Sports Therapist providing pre and post game treatment, match day therapy, first aid and sports massage.Tiana has a passion for sports injuries and is currently undergoing a Masters in Physiotherapy at St Mary’s University Twickenham which she thoroughly enjoys.

 

Tiana has worked for AFCB Women’s team and is currently working for Nomads 7s Women’s Rugby team this summer and will be First Team Therapist at Beaconsfield Rugby Club this coming season.

 

Tiana herself enjoys weightlifting and is an avid gym goer.

 

Qualifications:

- BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy

- Adult and Paediatric First Aid qualified

- Level 4 Sports Massage

- Taping course

Tiana is available for Sports Therapy and Sports Massage bookings at Hedsor Golf Course.

Katie Doody

Katie had most recently joined the team to help with bookings and administration. She is very over qualified for the role so you will be in excellent hands and she will be able to offer you any help and advice from the clinical side too.

 

Katie will also be available one week a month to see you as a patient also at Hedsor Golf Course. Katie has a huge wealth of experience and has worked with many different consultants and sports teams over the years. 

 

Qualifications:

BSc General and Sports Rehabilitation - Middlesex University.

Level 3 Sports Massage - IOS

 

Background:

- Worked in the field since 2011 (11 years).

- Worked with Philadelphia University as a Sports Rehabilitation Trainer across multiple sports including: lacrosse, basketball, baseball and tennis.

- Worked with GB athletics in multiple warm weather camps around the world.

- For 8 years worked as head of rehabilitation at Shaftesbury Harriers.
